Believe cluster freebie

Saturday, October 29, 2011
So I'm a day late on this - sorry about that! Fridays are never an easy day, mostly because after work - you just wanna veg. Saturdays are a bit easier - you know you've got two full days of "vacation" ahead of you and it inspires you to get things done. Today I made a little word art cluster for you using Bean Bunny's My Fairy Tale. I have to apologize for the dark background - the cluster is white, so it was necessary for the preview. Hope you like it and will find it useful! Just click on the image to download. Happy Saturday!

Journaling without much effort

Thursday, September 15, 2011
Hi there - Jen here. Today is all about journaling. I love journaling! It adds so much to a page. It tells the story, something scrapbooking has always been about. Photo albums are for photos, scrapbooks are for memories. That's the way I see it anyway. But have you ever had a page where you just don't know what to write? Maybe you can't remember much about when the photo was taken, or maybe you weren't even there. Perhaps it's the kind of photo (a portrait or face shot maybe) where there just isn't a story to tell. Does that mean you shouldn't journal? Absolutely not! One of the great things about a scrapbook page is that anything goes - each one is unique - there are no rules, no format for how it must be done. One of my favorite things to do on a page is to add a quote, a saying, or a poem. Sometimes I make them up myself, other times I search the web. One of my favorite sites for journaling ideas is Scrapbook.com. They have things to say for all sorts of categories, including quotes and poems, sometimes even just one-liners. So, what is your favorite journaling idea site?
